People always have an opinion about other artists work, and for the most part i am cool with that. But when people compare me with Basquiat it does piss me off a little. My work is miles away from Basquiat , fucking miles. To say that my work looks like Basquiat, is like saying, Basquiat is a De Kooning wanna be? or Carlo Zinelli, or August Walla, and so on... Outsider Art was being made 30 years before Basquiat was even around. And even if his work is related to Neo-Expressionism it is derivative of Outsider Art or Art Brut if you want... he didn't re-envent the fucking art wheel with his work. Most people think that he did... Only a person with very little art knowledge would say such a stupid outrageous thing (shit). My work is way better than Basquiat in my opinion... It has got a lot more meaningful content. But that's just my personal opinion. I of course like his work, but he is no where near on my favourite top artist list. In fact i rarely mention his name when asked about the artists i like. I mean, i love Anton Unai just as an example, he his one of my favourite artists around. Massimo Nota is another one. but my all time favourite, is of course de grand master Antoni Tapies .

When i was a kid censorship came only from one place. Governments. But now comes from all over the place. From everywhere. From ordinary everyday people. It's getting scary. Not that, that shit would or will ever make me stop creating the art i create. Or shouting out loud what i believe to be right. And to incorporate that into my work. But because people are just getting plain fucking stupid and blind. They are being zombified. It's getting annoying at times.
I wasn't always a big fan of collaborations when it comes to my art. Why? Well because my work is very personal and in your face orientated kind of work, so not only i didn't want to have to share that with others, but i also didn't know what to expect, or if it would work as a collaboration at all... That of course changed when i finally decided to do a collaboration with Norbert Guthier (an artist that came to visit me in my studio). Anyway! My friend Kirsten Schulz had been inviting me to paint with her for a while, and for some reason or another it never seem to happen. It finally did happen, in Dec. 2016 and let me tell you... i was taken by surprise. I think we both were (In a super good way, of course)... Painting after painting came to life, and each one better than the next. Indeed so many, we couldn't believe it ourselves. And we didn't even had a plan whatsoever. We just put the brushes and colours to work, and let it all happen by itself! pretty spontaneous... without any forcing.
It goes without saying that i am extremely happy with all the works created, and at the same time inspired, because of course it's a whole new different animal when you create with another artist. There's always new things happening... new lines, new forms, new life! which is of course what i personally love about it in the first place. Two artists perspective of what a work should look like, or should feel like. We very rarely debated about how a work should be. What a work should show (depict). The changes to ones work were few and subtile. It was, in most cases just happening so freely it was beautiful to just watch each other paint. The process was simple. One would start with an idea, and the other would finish it. I can say without a shadow of doubt that i am proud of every work created. Every single work. How our work fits so well, and compliments each other... is what i love the most about this collaboration experience. Goes without saying that we will do many more in the future. So stay tuned people, art lovers, art addicts, and art curious... Love!!! Hi everyone
Well, it seems that FACEBOOK, doesn't like my art or my posts. Specially the political and the ones with Anti-anything on them. I've been on FB for over 14 years now, and i have never had any problems of any kind. However in the last months, sadly, i've been blocked by FB countless times, to the point where i see no point or reason of using FB services at all. It's just too much trouble! trouble that i honestly don't need... I've tried to write back to them for an explanation or what's wrong with the posts or paintings in question? (which by the way, contained no nudity at all) They claim they have nudity and they violate the FB terms. But there is no nudity in any of the paintings. And even after i...against my will, deleted a few of the paintings and images in question, (like i said had no nudity content) the blocking continued. So FUCK you FACEBOOK... Happy now? I'm out... So at this point i can only take that they don't respect or tolerate the free speech we all think we have the right to have. I can be contacted here for any enquires or for any purchases, exhibitions, interviews and so on... this is my official website. You can email me at : [email protected] (or) [email protected] -------- You can also check out my work on: INSTAGRAM Thanks for all your support, respect! Let's make a cheese movie? All you have to do is say: Cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese!!!
When people look at my work and say; "i can make it better" i say... BULLSHIT! But if a child says the same thing to me, I TOTALLY BELIEVE IT.
Just because in my personal opinion, i don't like watercolor little flowers/poppies and landscapes, and think it is craft (crap) and not art. It doesn't mean, you have to believe it, or take my words for granted or literally. It is just a one persons opinion. If you take it as an order (per se), or a must change your shit 'coz someone said so.... you ain't a real artist. 'Coz you're creating for others, and not for yourself. Which is the opposite of what art to me is all about. If i'd listen to other peoples opinions, my work wouldn't be anywhere near what i'm doing... What i'm saying here; "is that you must do your own thing regardless of what i, or anyone else says". You must believe in what you're creating. Make work that makes you happy, and not work that makes others happy. I personally could sell way, way more work than i do generally, i know what sells within my work and style. I chose not to do that.
